I am asking both here and on the HP Support page. If anyone has a solution, I would very much appreciate it. It basically told me to do the exact same thing the mouse guide told me to do: "turn on the mouse, turn on Mac/Windows Bluetooth, wait one minute, remove cord, your mouse is now connected, yay!!" Only. The most, and least, helpful thing I could find was a magic utilities website. I've already tried everything I could find on the web, which wasn't much. The indicator next to it should be green. Your type of network connection is listed on the right.
